ABOUT ME

Ida Ang completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering with a concentration in Biomechanics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018. In 2019, she was awarded the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship to develop computational models to study damage and fracture in soft and biological materials. In 2023, she obtained her Ph.D in Mechanical engineering with minors in solid mechanics and bioengineering from Cornell University.
